2002 Winterguard
Productions Announced
The Southern Knights organisation are extremely
pleased to announce their 2002 Winterguard productions together with
details of membership and staffing.
Rugrats
As with previous years the Rugrats will continue to provide the
audience with a fun show which is designed to give these youngest
members of the Knights a performance they can enjoy and is also
Performing to Don't Tell Me by Madonna in the
Cadet Class this season there will be 14 members of the Rugrats and
their staff of Sharron Cole, Karen Parris and Kristina Longford have
called their show 'Daisy Chain'. No prizes for guessing the
costume and colours to be used in 2002 :-).
Juniors
Following last years success, the Cadet Guard has now been renamed
to Southern Knights Juniors and will be performing a show entitled
'Stars' to the music of Mel C (Northern Star) in the Junior Class.
Membership has slightly increased and the 13
members, including 3 new to the activity and 1 member up from the
Rugrats is being taught by the same staff as last year, Karen Parris
and Sandra Harris.
Seniors
2000 saw the successful return of the Southern Knights to Open
Class competition and, building on this, 2002 has seen the Guard
increase in size to 15 and we welcome the members from 6th Hove Scouts
and 37th Kingswood who have joined us for the winter.
The show, entitled 'A Floor In Four Acts',
features various versions of Windmills Of My Mind and is being
produced by a staff of Sharron Cole, Dave Parris, Michael Spiteri,
Terry Jefcoate, Gavin Woodhead, Kirsty Church and Mike Tiley.
